This topic describes how to use the MPI Tool Information Interface (MPI-T) to expose parameter or measurement variables that may be useful for performance tuning or debugging.
Objectives
After you complete this topic, you should be able to:
- Explain the purpose of the MPI toll information interface
- Identify the calls needed on each process using MPI-T
Prerequisites
- A basic knowledge of parallel programming and MPI.
- Ability to program in a high-level language such as Fortran or C.
