You can run Terraform on any computer, including your personal computer or a cloud instance. On the computer you have selected, you will need to define some environment variables that Terraform will use when performing its orchestration steps. These easiest way to do this is to download an "openrc.sh" file from a Jetstream2 web page.

This procedure is described in the Using the Jetstream2 APIs roadmap, in the Configuring an openrc.sh File page. That page recommends that you download an openrc.sh file through Jetstream2's Horizon web interface. If you plan to work with multiple Jetstream2 projects, you should download an openrc.sh file for each of them.
