Creating and Configuring a Personal Globus Endpoint

This exercise is relevant if you intend to transfer files between a Globus server and a personal computer. Detailed information about performing these steps can be found here and here.

• Install the Globus Connect Personal software on your computer.
• Define a personal endpoint on the Globus transfer web site and save the provided Setup Key.
• Run Globus Connect Personal and enter your Setup Key.
• Using the Globus Web Interface, edit your personal endpoint and make it publicly visible.
