ParaView allows you to generate animations of your visualizations. ParaView can animate three different aspects of a visualization:
- The camera.
- Property values of nodes in the Visualization Pipeline.
- A time-varying data set.
In this section we will explore the functionality to animate cameras and node properties.
Objectives
After you complete this segment, you should be able to:
- Name the three animatable aspects of visualization available in ParaView
- Demonstrate using the Animation panel
- List some animatable properties in the source and filter nodes
- List the steps needed to prepare source/filter data for animation
- Explain the purpose of keyframes
Prerequisites
- Complete the basic ParaView tutorial.
