Globus users that have more than one login account can link them such that when they log in using one account the benefits of all their accounts are available. One of the user's accounts is considered to be the primary, and the others are linked accounts.

The Globus site contains instructions for linking Globus accounts. If you did not choose to link accounts when creating them, you can link the account that is currently logged in to another account by visiting the Globus Account page and clicking "Link Another Identity".

On the "Select an identity to link" page, use the drop-down to select the organization whose account you wish to link. If you want to link to your Globus ID, select the "Globus ID" entry. Click "Continue" and on the next page provide the credentials for the existing account. Globus will ask you to confirm your current login information and then return you to the "Account" page where your newly linked account should now be shown.

If you plan to create personal endpoints to use in data transfers, you will want your Globus ID account to be your primary account. This causes your personal endpoints to be named based on your Globus ID rather than on the unwieldy random name that is assigned to organizational logins.
