These exercises touch on the major aspects of working with Globus transfers in the context of TACC resources, and should be completed in order. Detailed information is available for performing these steps.

1. Log in to the Globus Web Interface with an organizational account that has been associated as an eduPersonPrincipalName (ePPN) in your TACC account, then go to the Transfer section.
2. On the right side of the interface, select a TACC endpoint, such as Frontera, to which you have access.
3. Create a new folder called "test" on the endpoint. Change the path for that endpoint to be in the "test" folder.
4. On the left side of the interface, select your personal endpoint or another TACC endpoint, such as Vista, if you do not have a personal endpoint.
5. In the left browser, select a small file suitable for transferring.
6. Transfer the file to the TACC Frontera "test" folder.
7. Rename the transferred file to "new_name".
8. Delete the file "new_name" from the TACC Frontera endpoint.
